What I do
At JST care I am happy to help you with any personal care needs that you may have,
from getting up in the morning, baths, showers, meals, companionship, or engaging
in activities and helping you to bed. I can also help to support you to manage your
nutrition, and document and monitor your health records, whatever support you
decide I can provide. I have a level 5 in Health and Social Care management and can
support with catheters, stoma care and other specialities. My aim is to support you to
live as independently as possible in your own home. You are at the heart of
everything I do.
I support the elderly, the disabled and anyone suffering from multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s
disease, stroke rehabilitation, and other similar problems, including those who are just
looking for a little help and support in their lives. I also provide palliative and end-of-life care.
I take pride in setting high standards and drive innovation to satisfy the people I support.
Your welfare is my top priority and I always go the extra mile to support you.
As well as domiciliary care, I can help you with:
Shopping
You can choose to come shopping with me if you would like to get out and about. This means you can travel to your local town and shop if you choose. Or I can do the shopping for you.
Cooking
I am happy to help you with meals if you would like a home-cooked meal prepared, or if you would like support to prepare your own meal, or maybe just something simple. I also can help with light household duties. I am happy to help you in any way you choose. You are in control.
Social activities and help with appointments
I am happy to take you out, to your social events or perhaps on a shopping trip to the town, or simply for a lunch or coffee if you choose. I can also support you to appointments.
Administration
I can provide support with administration as long as you have consented to this. I can also help with arranging appointments, letter writing, Internet shopping, support with forms, and offer advice on services.
Personal care
I am happy to help you with any personal care needs that you may have. I can also help you to manage your nutrition, whether this is preparing meals for you or coming in regularly to assist you to eat your meals.
Partnership
I want to make sure that you get the most out of life, and linking with other local services
brings huge benefits. Using our local knowledge and current network of other services and
activities, I can help you get the most out of your community. I have lived in the area for
many years; as a result, I have intensive knowledge of anything you may need in the
proximity.
I want you to know that you are supported every step of the way and that I always listen to
you.

Testimonials
Jackie has been coming to us for just over a year. Dad has Parkinson’s and I needed help to care for him after a water infection left him unable to stand. He is very happy with Jackie coming and she always brightens his day! We are glad we chose JST Care and would recommend Jackie to anyone.
Sarah, Saffron Walden
Since my severe stroke over a year ago, I have made remarkable progress towards my rehabilitation largely due to a combination of Jackie’s care with attention to detail with her background of
personal training allowing bespoke and targeted exercise programmes to be developed. Finally, it is said that “laughter is the best medicine”, and Jackie’s cheerful nature and disposition
make even the most difficult task surmountable and go a long way to help with the healing process.
Patrick, Wendens Ambo
My wife has Parkinson’s disease and we have had carers for over 7 years now. Jackie is by far the best. She is always cheerful and willing to go out of her way to help and she supported us brilliantly when serious, unexpected problems arose. I strongly recommend her.
David, Ickleton
Michael suffers from cerebrovascular disease which has resulted in parts of his brain not working as it did. Jackie has been a wonderfully positive influence, both helping in practical ways – personal care, exercises to keep him mobile – and in helping me, his partner, to deal with his condition. She has experience and sound knowledge and brightens up our day.
