A warm welcome to JST Care
JST Care was established by Jacqueline Sarah Thorpe in March 2018.
Since then my client base has grown and offers care and support for adults living in their own homes. I have clients in Saffron Walden and surrounding villages. I have worked in the care industry since 1994, and have extensive experience. I specialise in providing care for the elderly, disabled, sufferers from multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, stroke rehabilitation, and palliative care.
JST Care provides help and support with personal care, from getting up in the morning, medication, meal preparation, ordering and collecting prescriptions, help with paying bills, light housework, shopping and companionship, getting out and about and respite care, or, if you choose, just simply chatting and having a cup of tea, right through to going to bed.
I pride myself on supporting people to live independently in their own homes

Testimonials
Jackie has been coming to us for just over a year. Dad has Parkinson’s and I needed help to care for him after a water infection left him unable to stand. He is very happy with Jackie coming and she always brightens his day! We are glad we chose JST Care and would recommend Jackie to anyone.
Sarah, Saffron Walden
Since my severe stroke over a year ago, I have made remarkable progress towards my rehabilitation largely due to a combination of Jackie’s care with attention to detail with her background of
personal training allowing bespoke and targeted exercise programmes to be developed. Finally, it is said that “laughter is the best medicine”, and Jackie’s cheerful nature and disposition
make even the most difficult task surmountable and go a long way to help with the healing process.
Patrick, Wendens Ambo
My wife has Parkinson’s disease and we have had carers for over 7 years now. Jackie is by far the best. She is always cheerful and willing to go out of her way to help and she supported us brilliantly when serious, unexpected problems arose. I strongly recommend her.
David, Ickleton
Michael suffers from cerebrovascular disease which has resulted in parts of his brain not working as it did. Jackie has been a wonderfully positive influence, both helping in practical ways – personal care, exercises to keep him mobile – and in helping me, his partner, to deal with his condition. She has experience and sound knowledge and brightens up our day.
